This November will mark the one year anniversary of Capla Kesting Fine Art's opening. During the last year, CKFA has organized 11 exhibitions, hall marked by; The Salon of Refused works for the Whitney Biennial, Image vs. Color, My Coulrophobia, and Small Works. The year was spent creating exposure for the gallery, developing the skills of our trade, building a greater understanding of our community and how we can positively affect it. To celebrate this milestone, Capla Kesting Fine Art will host The 3rd Annual Panjectivist Salon, a survey of artworks from our communities leading artists.

The Panjectivist Salon, herald as a barometer for emerging artists, has brought together hundreds of painters, photographers, illustrators, sculptors and their like, to assess their work in a public forum without judgments based in critical analysis. Last years event garnered over two thousand visitors, with a showcase of over 50 artists and six galleries represented. This year is expected to be even larger as the salon has grown ten fold in size and will return to the burgeoning Williamsburg arts community.

We invite you to join us in celebrating our one year anniversary, with the opening of, The Panjectivist Salon, on Friday, November 5th, from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. The exhibition will run until November 30th, and will include weekly Thursday evening salons, as a venue for artists to discuss their work in a public forum.
We hope you will join us for the opening night reception on November 5th, to celebrate this landmark, and we look forward to our second year further developing relationships with you, our artists and our community.
